Job Summary: This Maintenance Assistant position focuses on performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of facilities and furniture. Key Highlights: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across various specialties. 2. Support scheduled maintenance activities and carry out furniture relocations. 3. Contribute to a socially impactful work environment through education. Maintenance Assistant Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to the assigned specialty (electrician, mason, plumber, blacksmith, carpenter, painter) to preserve and maintain facilities, furniture, and equipment in optimal operating and functional condition. Your main challenges: Perform maintenance activities in the following areas: electricity, plumbing, welding, aluminum and glass, carpentry, masonry, gardening, painting. Carry out relocation and assembly of diverse furniture and equipment. Support the maintenance officer in executing scheduled maintenance activities. Perform maintenance work in offices, laboratories, classrooms, and restrooms to keep facilities in operational condition. Assist with window, classroom, office, and hall cleaning to ensure consistent visibility and presentation. Candidate Profile We Seek Essential Requirements: Education: Completed bachelor’s degree or engineering program Completion of courses or specializations in plumbing, masonry, painting, or related fields. Experience: 1–2 years in similar roles (general assistant, maintenance assistant), proficiency in using and handling manual, mechanical, and electrical tools, knowledge of electricity, and applicable knowledge for maintenance and preservation of movable and immovable assets. Desirable: Experience in global or educational environments.
