Develop and continuously monitor the updating and/or proposal of academic plans and programs, based on the Curriculum Design and Redesign Manual and in collaboration with the Technical Council and the respective Academic Department, submitting them timely and properly for review by the Plans and Programs Unit. · Submit academic staff requirements to the Human Capital Directorate, select candidates, and fill regular and extraordinary vacancies according to procedures, in coordination with the Division Director and obtaining the Rectorate’s approval. · 11. Assign semester teaching loads to faculty members and assist all coordinators in developing class schedules. · 12. Teach courses in one’s area of expertise during working hours, provide academic advising and tutoring. · 13. Conduct periodic classroom observations of faculty and student groups under one’s academic programs and implement improvement actions within one’s responsibilities. · 14. Identify training needs of assigned teaching staff and inform the corresponding Division Director to facilitate planning and monitoring of the faculty development, updating, and advancement program for academics and researchers. · 15. Annually develop the Work Plan and, semesternally, the Integrated System and Comprehensive Faculty Evaluation, and monitor implementation. · 16. Implement and monitor institutional programs (remedial education, tutoring, languages, exchanges, graduates, degree completion, continuing education, etc.), and propose strategies to the Director for enhancing academic quality and effectiveness. · 17. Support and promote participation of the academic community in institutional, cultural, sports, and service-related events. · 18. Organize external outreach events that position schools and the university, related to curriculum promotion, culture, and recreation. · 19. Actively collaborate with the Promotion and Admissions Unit in promoting the school for enrollment of new students. · 20. Perform necessary activities to accredit and/or certify study plans and programs, monitor observations where applicable, and maintain accreditation and/or certification. · 21. Update one’s personal file semiannually in the Human Capital Unit with documentation of faculty and professional development obtained in the previous semester, as well as any other personal documentation requiring updates. · 22. Carry out all procedures related to the QMS (Quality Management System) in which one is involved. · AGE RANGE: 30 years and older.
