Support internal and external audits. **Position: Metrologist** **Location:** Santa Cruz el Porvenir **Employment Type:** Full-time **Department:** Metrology / Quality **Job Objective** Ensure accurate measurement, calibration, and verification of measuring instruments, guaranteeing the reliability of results in accordance with applicable standards and customer requirements. **Responsibilities** * Perform calibration of measuring instruments in laboratory and on-site environments. * Conduct verifications and adjustments of measuring equipment. * Prepare calibration certificates and technical reports. * Interpret standards and procedures related to metrology. * Maintain traceability of equipment per national and international standards. * Identify deviations and propose corrective actions. * Manage control and safeguarding of measurement standards. * Support internal and external audits. * Comply with quality and industrial safety guidelines. **Requirements** * Education: Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field). * Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in calibration or metrology. * Knowledge of handling instruments such as: * Vernier calipers * Micrometers * Pressure gauges * Multimeters * Thermometers, among others * Familiarity with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025\). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Willingness to travel (mandatory for field services). **Skills** * Attention to detail * Technical analysis * Organization * Responsibility * Teamwork * Results-oriented mindset **We Offer** * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Statutory benefits * Ongoing training * Growth opportunities * Travel allowances for out-of-town assignments **Desirable Qualifications** * Experience in accredited laboratories. * Knowledge of measurement uncertainty. * Valid driver's license.
