Job Description and Detailed Responsibilities **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise daily import-export department activities across multiple manufacturing plants in Tijuana and Watkins Wellness in Vista, California. * Maintain continuous communication with internal customers to ensure optimal operational flow; provide ongoing support to Logistics, Customs Compliance, and Shipping departments. * Ensure proper use of Annex 24 software and ERP systems by import-export analysts, and keep the team updated with information and training for correct system usage in preparing import and export invoices per the IMMEX program and necessary operational queries. * Administer OEA and CTPAT supply chain security certifications before SAT and CBP for Tapicerías Pacifico’s manufacturing and transportation facilities, as well as for Watkins Wellness Vista facilities; serve as the official representative during authority audits and monitor full compliance. * Coordinate team activities under direct supervision, promote assertive communication, balance workloads, and provide direction on KPIs by setting departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives. * Conduct periodic evaluations of service providers. * Responsible for definitive-regime imports of materials, equipment, and/or tools. * Track international shipments for both imports and exports. * Work directly with Logistics and Compliance teams in the United States to ensure compliance with international treaties and applicable benefits for import and export shipments. * Support maintenance of IVA/IEPS and RO certifications through activities such as Experience and Requirements **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** **EDUCATION** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs and Logistics, or related field. * Master’s degree preferred in International Trade and/or Supply Chain Management. **EXPERIENCE** * Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience in an IMMEX company within International Trade, Import-Export, Customs Compliance, and/or Logistics departments. * Minimum 3 years supervising personnel. * Experience managing Annex 24 systems (I-Xport preferred) and ERP systems. **KNOWLEDGE** * Knowledge of international logistics, customs legislation, and foreign trade regulations applicable to IMMEX companies. * Commodity classification. * Familiarity with IMMEX, USMCA (T-MEC), and PROSEC programs. * Knowledge of IVA-IEPS, RO, CTPAT, and OEA certifications. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Advanced experience with Annex 24 systems (I-Xport preferred). * Experience with online government procedures (Single Window, SE, SAT, Annex 30, etc.). * Ability to draft official correspondence for government agencies. * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools applicable to industry. **COMPETENCIES** Adaptability, leadership, urgency orientation, professionalism, customer-centric listening, sound decision-making, initiative, strong work vision and purpose.
