Position Summary: Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of food for events, ensuring quality, hygiene, and adherence to timelines. Key Highlights: 1. Position Objective Support food preparation, cooking, and plating for events, guaranteeing quality, hygiene, and compliance with timelines established by banquet operations. Duties and Responsibilities - Assist in food preparation (washing, disinfection, chopping, and portioning of ingredients). - Follow recipes and instructions from the chef or kitchen supervisor. - Prepare basic productions (sauces, garnishes, bases). - Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times. - Wash utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas. - Assist in plating dishes and event service. - Transport supplies and food as needed (kitchen–event). - Inspect and organize supplies in storage (FIFO). - Comply with food hygiene and safety standards. - Assist with inventory and waste control. - Follow guidelines for proper handling of kitchen equipment Working Conditions - Work in kitchens and event venues - Variable shifts (including weekends and holidays) - Physical work (standing, light to moderate lifting) - Exposure to heat, cold, and humidity. -Requirements- Minimum education: Upper secondary education – General High School Diploma 1 year of experience Age: between 18 and 35 years Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions, Quality, Plating, Food Preparation, Table Service, Knife Handling, Culinary Techniques Keywords: assistant, helper, aide, auxiliary, culinary, cook, kitchen
