SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Job Summary: Provide support for in-store operational activities, including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in merchandise stocking and presentation on the sales floor 2. Serve customers by addressing product inquiries and processing sales 3. Be part of a team that values dedication and growth Provide support for in-store operational activities by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks according to applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as sales floor cleaning activities, to ensure correct merchandise stocking and store presentation. * Serve customers by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing to deliver excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures, and handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Correctly execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
