




Job Summary: Protects property and people by verifying compliance with security requirements and recording entries and exits to maintain control and security of the station. For more information, visit www.cimmyt.org This consultancy will be based at CIMMYT’s headquarters in El Batán, Texcoco, Mexico, located 45 minutes from Mexico City. **Main Responsibilities:** * + Monitor and protect movable/immovable property and people present on site. + Verify compliance with the institution’s security requirements. + Record entries and exits of CIMMYT employees, suppliers, and visitors to maintain personnel control at the Station. + Conduct random vehicle inspections for staff and continuous vehicle inspections for suppliers. + Carry out regular patrols across all areas of the Station to ensure facilities and personnel are safe and secure. + Provide required support to individuals within the Station, following established security procedures. + Here is the transcribed text from the image: + Promptly report any abnormal situation detected to the immediate supervisor and/or manager to implement appropriate corrective measures. + Verify that fire-fighting equipment is properly placed and fully operational. + Inspect building doors and windows to ensure they are securely closed and sufficiently robust to withstand potential hazards. + Assist on-site personnel requesting general information. + Support emergency response teams during working hours and serve as an emergency responder outside working hours. + Answer telephone calls and provide information during non-working hours. + Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements** * Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position. * Basic knowledge of civil protection, first aid, evacuation, rescue, and emergency response. * Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by service needs. * Knowledge of English (desirable). **Benefits** CIMMYT offers an attractive compensation package and professional development support.
