Position Summary: Support the development and improvement of products and technologies by conducting industrial trials and ensuring feasibility and compliance with quality and safety requirements. Technical support and problem analysis. **Your Responsibilities** Provide support to the Senior NPD Technologist in developing new products and technologies and/or improving existing ones through industrial trials that ensure the feasibility of ingredients, equipment, and processes, and guarantee compliance with internal/external customer requirements regarding quality, safety, and manufacturability attributes, while promoting continuous improvement across all processes. **What We Require From You** **Education**: Completed bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical-Biological Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Food Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field. A professional title is desirable. **Experience**: Minimum 1 year in a similar position, preferably within the Food Industry; or 1 year of experience for internal transfers from departments related to this position. Training: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Food Defense, Food Fraud, Pest Control, Integrated Management System. **Annex**: Knowledge will be demonstrated through prior experience, evidence of training completed prior to hiring, and, if necessary, a defined training program for this position. **About the Position** Provide technical support regarding process parameters across various production lines. Maintain up-to-date process parameters, formula sheets, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and any other required technical documentation on the shop floor and within the Integrated Management System. Conduct industrial trials to evaluate new ingredients, suppliers, products, etc. Ship samples obtained during industrial trials to external parties as required. Perform Accelerated Shelf-Life Testing (ASLT) on samples obtained from industrial trials (where applicable). Provide technical support to the Production Department regarding existing processes and development of new products or technologies, assisting in problem resolution and analysis. Prepare daily reports on process parameter deviations occurring across various production lines. Prepare reports summarizing results of industrial trials in which you are involved. Prepare reports on Accelerated Shelf-Life Testing (ASLT) of samples obtained from industrial trials (where applicable). Participate in talks and trainings provided by the Safety, Hygiene, and Environment team. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for candy manufacturing and/or cost-saving projects, validating plant-level performance of alternative raw materials or process improvements. Propose process improvements related to process parameters to contribute to enhanced efficiency and quality. Comply with the company’s internal work regulations.
