*Join Estafeta! We are seeking a Tax Coordinator*
*Objective*
*Ensure the organization’s comprehensive tax compliance with a preventive and strategic approach by accurately managing tax obligations, anticipating risks, and timely interpreting the regulatory environment—thereby guaranteeing legal certainty, operational continuity, and value creation within an intensive, digital, and data-analytics–driven audit context.*
Activities
* Ensure the organization correctly fulfills its tax obligations without errors or deviations through robust tax controls and by validating consistency among accounting, operational, and tax information.
* Strategically manage the organization’s tax burden by identifying efficiency and optimization opportunities within the regulatory framework.
* Lead the management of audits, reviews, and requests from tax authorities, defining response and defense strategies based on the materiality validity of transactions and coordinating the compilation of documentary evidence and tax arguments.
* Direct the identification and analysis of regulatory changes, assessing their impact and ensuring their effective and timely implementation across the organization through financial and operational impact analysis of tax provisions.
* Ensure correct tax treatment of significant transactions—including financing arrangements, related-party transactions, and corporate structures—through contract review and validation, defining applicable tax criteria, and supervising their proper application in accounting and tax records.
Requirements:
* Completed Bachelor’s degree (graduated) in Accounting.
* Intermediate English
* Prior experience leading work teams.
* Solid knowledge of digital tax tools and the SAT ecosystem; data analytics applied to taxation (review models, large-scale information cross-checks, risk detection); as well as regulatory interpretation and tax criteria.
* Desired: knowledge of process automation and artificial intelligence applied to tax analysis.
* 4 to 5 years of experience in general accounting or finance, auditing (internal and external), or tax departments.
