Job Summary: We are seeking fire protection systems technicians with experience in smoke detection, OSID systems, NOTIFIER panels, pump rooms, and fire extinguishers for preventive and corrective maintenance. Familiarity with NFPA regulations for fire extinguishers and fire-fighting equipment WE ARE HIRING 2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS TECHNICIANS: REQUIREMENTS: *Knowledge of smoke detection: NFPA-72 criteria for smoke detectors across various jurisdictions, as well as signaling criteria. Preventive maintenance on various devices within this field. *Knowledge of OSID systems: Troubleshooting these systems, as well as performing preventive and corrective maintenance. *Knowledge of NOTIFIER panels 320, 640, and 30-30: Troubleshooting panels, including adding and removing various devices; performing preventive maintenance; identifying various issues the panel may indicate (programming knowledge is not required, but system familiarity is). *Knowledge of pump rooms: NFPA-20 knowledge for installation and maintenance of fire water pumps (basic knowledge required). Conducting operational tests on various pumps, taking readings, and identifying potential issues. Understanding the operation of fire pump control panels. Performing preventive maintenance on Ricer components of the fire protection system. *Knowledge of fire extinguishers: NFPA 10 knowledge regarding installation, inspection, maintenance, and testing of portable fire extinguishers. Performing preventive maintenance and verification of fire extinguishers to ensure proper functionality. We have 2 vacancies on different shifts: SHIFT 1: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
