Guarantees compliance with fine dining standards and protocols Job Description: Server Captain (Luxury Hotel) The Server Captain is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring exceptional service in the hotel’s restaurants and food & beverage areas. Acts as a liaison between the waitstaff team, the kitchen, and management, ensuring that the quality, etiquette, and hospitality standards inherent to a luxury hotel are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the waitstaff team during service. Ensure compliance with fine dining service standards and hotel protocols. Receive and attend to VIP guests or those with special requests. Verify proper table setup, tableware, and service area presentation. Train and evaluate staff on service techniques and customer service. Coordinate service timing with the kitchen and bar. Resolve guest complaints or situations professionally and efficiently. Assist with table assignments and reservation management. Supervise proper use of supplies, equipment, and uniforms. Requirements Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels. Knowledge of formal service (etiquette, wine pairing, table setting). Leadership and team management skills. Excellent appearance and service-oriented attitude. Proficiency in English (mandatory in luxury hotels). Ability to work under pressure.
