Samsung Electronics Digital Appliances México SA de CV, a global leader in technological innovation with over 22 years of presence in the city of Querétaro, is seeking: **DIE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR TECHNICIAN** **JOB OBJECTIVE:** Perform activities that guarantee proper functioning of molds and dies, including designing, analyzing, repairing, and validating each component to ensure process quality without disrupting production. **REQUIREMENTS:** · 1 year of experience in the same position. · Education: Technical Superior University degree (TSU) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Processes, or related field. · Availability to work rotating shifts. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Verify all tooling components through preventive maintenance to avoid production line stoppages caused by tooling malfunction; mark and identify each component to prevent assembly errors. · Maintain control of in-house and vendor-modified parts and molds to improve productivity and streamline stamping processes. · Keep records of design changes or revisions to maintain tooling in optimal condition. · Operate conventional machines, including lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders, to perform die repairs. · Use TIG, SMAW, and LASER welding machines to repair damaged parts or conduct major tooling repairs. · Operate forklifts, required for moving tools between workshop and production equipment. · Operate overhead cranes; possess knowledge of operation and control of overhead cranes for handling dies. · Handle and control measuring instruments. · Perform mold polishing. · Conduct dimensional analysis versus design specifications. · Inspect and validate pneumatic systems. · Inspect and validate mechanical systems. **KNOWLEDGE:** · Proficiency in 2D design (AutoCAD) and 3D design (NX). · Experience operating conventional machines (milling machine, surface grinder, lathe, radial drill, etc.). · Proficiency in using manual workshop tools. · Excel If you are interested and meet the required profile, please apply through this channel by submitting your updated CV, specifying your MONTHLY GROSS SALARY EXPECTATION.
