Position Summary: We are seeking an Accountant with a strong focus on accounting systems and controls to manage operational accounting and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial information. Key Highlights: 1. Operational accounting administration for MDN Sports and MDN Protein Bar. 2. Strong focus on accounting systems and controls (Odoo and CONTPAQi). 3. Coordinated work with external accounting audit. MDN Sports is a Mexican company dedicated to the marketing of sports supplements, experiencing steady growth in e-commerce and marketplaces. We manage our financial and operational information through Odoo (ERP) and CONTPAQi; therefore, we seek an accountant with a strong focus on accounting systems and controls. Position Objective To manage the operational accounting of MDN Sports and MDN Protein Bar, ensuring accurate recording, control, and reconciliation of financial information generated in Odoo and CONTPAQi, while working collaboratively with an external accounting audit. Main Responsibilities · Maintain the company’s general accounting. · Daily operation and accounting control in CONTPAQi (Accounting, Electronic Invoicing, and Banking). · Recording, validation, and reconciliation of accounting entries in CONTPAQi. · Management and review of accounting information from Odoo (sales, inventory, invoicing). · Reconciliation among Odoo, CONTPAQi, banks, and SAT. · Preparation and filing of taxes (ISR, IVA, DIOT, etc.). · Control of accounts payable and accounts receivable. · Review, issuance, and control of CFDIs. · Bank reconciliations. · Monthly accounting closings. · Accounting control of inventory and costs. · Responding to and following up on requests from external accounting audit. · Preparation of financial reports for management. · Preparation of balance sheet and income statement. Personnel Management: Supervises one person. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (certified). · Minimum 3–5 years of experience in general accounting. · Demonstrable proficiency in CONTPAQi (mandatory). · Experience using Odoo (ERP) – accounting, invoicing, and inventory modules. · Experience reconciling data between ERP and accounting systems. · Familiarity with SAT, IMSS, and INFONAVIT. · Intermediate Excel skills. · Experience working with external accounting audits or firms.
