LABOR LEGAL COORDINATOR
Labor Relations | Manufacturing | Regulatory Compliance
We are looking for a **Labor Legal Coordinator** with experience in industrial and corporate environments, responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with labor laws, as well as providing strategic support in labor relations, inspections, and legal defense.
Position Objective
Coordinate and implement the organization’s labor legal strategy, ensuring compliance with the **Federal Labor Law (FLL)** and regulations issued by the **Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS)**, as well as proper handling of individual and collective labor disputes, thereby minimizing legal risks for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Labor Legal Management
* Advise operational and corporate departments on matters of **labor law**.
* Draft, review, and validate labor documents: employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, internal regulations.
* Compile and maintain labor case files.
On-site Labor Relations
* Directly address labor-related matters at **manufacturing plants**.
* Manage individual and collective labor conflicts.
* Participate in negotiations with employees, joint committees, and, where applicable, labor unions.
Litigation and Legal Proceedings
* Monitor **labor lawsuits, claims, amparo proceedings, and conciliations**.
* Coordinate with external law firms.
* Analyze legal risks and define defense strategies.
Inspections and Compliance
* Respond to inspections conducted by the **STPS**.
* Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations.
* Follow up on internal and external labor audits.
Administrative Records and Disciplinary Processes
* Draft **administrative records**.
* Support disciplinary processes in accordance with the FLL.
* Maintain proper documentation to mitigate legal risks.
Prevention and Strategy
* Implement policies and best practices in labor relations.
* Train leaders on labor matters and personnel management.
* Proactively identify labor risks and mitigation strategies.
Required Profile
Academic Background
* Bachelor’s degree in Law (degree completion mandatory).
* Specialization or diploma in Labor Law (preferred).
Experience
* **5 years of experience** in labor legal affairs.
* Experience in **manufacturing / industrial** companies.
* Handling of labor conflicts, litigation, and proceedings before government authorities.
* Experience with STPS inspections.
Technical Knowledge
* Federal Labor Law (FLL).
* STPS regulations.
* Labor procedures, conciliations, and amparo proceedings.
* Drafting of administrative records.
* Labor relations and union management (preferred).
