Job Summary: We are seeking Optical Fiber Assistants for work crews responsible for fiber splicing, emergency response, and telecommunications network maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Fieldwork in telecommunications infrastructure. **OPTICAL FIBER ASSISTANTS – SPLICING AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE** Location: Ecatepec, State of Mexico (Valley of Mexico) Employment Type: Direct and immediate hiring by SSHARE Work Mode: 100% fieldwork **Who Are We?** SSHARE Mexico, a company specialized in telecommunications network infrastructure, maintenance, and construction. We are currently recruiting Optical Fiber Assistants to join work crews focused on optical fiber splicing, emergency response, and network maintenance for active projects within the Valley of Mexico. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform optical fiber splicing in FTTH networks * Respond to faults and emergencies in optical fiber networks * Locate and repair fiber cuts or incidents in the network * Perform work at splice closures and NAP cabinets * Carry out preventive and corrective network maintenance * Comply with on-site safety protocols * Report work progress and evidence of completed tasks **Essential Requirements** * Proven experience in optical fiber splicing * Experience in responding to faults and emergencies in FTTH networks * Knowledge of splice closures and NAP cabinets * Experience in locating and repairing fiber cuts * Preferably experience working with Telmex’s fiber network * Availability for 100% fieldwork * Ability to work in crews and under incident-response conditions **We Offer** * Weekly salary payments with timely deposits * Competitive weekly salary * Weekly gasoline allowance * Weekly automobile usage allowance * Social security coverage * Consistent work on active projects **Additionally**: * If you own a vehicle, vehicle rental payment for operational use may be provided * If you own your own tools (fusion splicer, fiber cleaver, OTDR, etc.), salary enhancement may be considered Salary: $12,000.00 per month Benefits: * Transportation assistance or service Work Location: On-site employment
