Molding Press Mechanic Maintains presses and auxiliary peripheral equipment in optimal operating condition by performing corrective and preventive maintenance on area equipment to meet production volume requirements.**Job Description** =================== Requirements: * Reviews maintenance orders in the SAP system, requesting the Molding Maintenance Supervisor to schedule preventive maintenance activities and ensure proper equipment operation. * Prepares and executes corrective maintenance orders, coordinating with the Production Supervisor to secure equipment availability for corrective maintenance and ensure proper equipment operation. * Supports project execution by carrying out activities required by the Maintenance Supervisor to successfully fulfill departmental requirements. * Performs maintenance and improvement activities within their work area, conducting monthly audits of the 5S program to improve response times to the production area. * Actively participates in the Daily Management Lean program, applying the six elements to achieve excellent performance levels. * JIT shift-start meetings. * Visual Display: keep updated and contribute improvement ideas. * Achieve performance indicator targets. * Execute activities outlined in the 20 Keys improvement plan. * Contribute ideas and solutions to problems using Kaizen Action Sheets. * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * Records daily activities in the assigned database, tracking time spent and parts used daily to monitor departmental efficiency and expenses. * Supports resolution of quality process failures by executing assigned tasks from the Maintenance Supervisor to comply with quality regulatory systems. Academic Preparation and Prior Experience: * High school diploma or technical degree preferred—Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field. * 2 years’ experience in Maintenance or Manufacturing. * Experience repairing injection molding machines.
