Fully remote position with opportunities for professional growth Senior Accountant (Remote) **US \& International Tax \| Client Advisory \| Team Leadership** Position Overview We are seeking a **Senior Accountant** to lead client engagements, manage accounting staff, and provide strategic advisory services to business owners. This role requires strong knowledge of **US GAAP, US tax compliance, and international tax considerations**, combined with excellent leadership and client relationship skills. The ideal candidate is **organized, inquisitive, and comfortable managing people**, while also serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This position is **fully remote** and works closely with our leadership team and accounting staff. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership \& Management * Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring high\-quality work and professional development * Review bookkeeping, financial statements, and tax work prepared by team members * Provide guidance on technical accounting and tax matters * Ensure deadlines and client deliverables are met * Improve internal processes and workflows Client Advisory \& Relationship Management * Serve as the **primary contact for assigned clients** * Lead client meetings and provide strategic financial guidance * Advise business owners on **tax planning, profitability, and financial decisions** * Communicate financial insights clearly to non\-financial stakeholders * Build long\-term trusted relationships with clients Accounting \& Tax Oversight * Review financial statements prepared under **US GAAP** * Oversee preparation and review of **US tax returns (individual and business)** * Support international clients with **cross\-border tax and accounting considerations** * Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations * Assist with complex accounting and tax matters when needed Process Improvement \& Strategic Support * Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy * Assist leadership with strategic initiatives and firm growth * Contribute to the development of advisory services and financial insights for clients QualificationsRequired * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field** * **5\+ years of accounting experience** * Strong knowledge of **US GAAP** * Experience with **US tax compliance (individual and business returns)** * Experience reviewing work of other accountants * Excellent **English communication skills** * Strong organizational and time\-management skills * Comfortable leading client meetings Preferred * **CPA** * Experience working with **international clients or cross\-border tax** * Experience with **QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software** * Experience managing or mentoring accounting teams * Background in **advisory or consulting services** Key Skills * Leadership and team management * Client advisory and communication * Analytical and problem\-solving mindset * Strong attention to detail * Ability to explain complex financial topics simply * Curiosity and willingness to investigate financial issues Work Environment * Fully **remote position** * Collaborative team environment * Opportunities for professional growth and leadership Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $30,000\.00 \- $35,000\.00 per month Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Language: * English (Preferred) License/Certification: * US CPA license (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
