Summary: UCB is seeking an exceptional Medical Information Coordinator in Mexico to guide and train staff on medical information management policies and procedures. Highlights: 1. Provide guidance and training on medical information management policies. 2. Ensure medical information is accurate, secure, and updated for patient care. 3. Main contact for Patient Support Program under UCBCares. **Make your mark for patients** **UCB is seeking to hire an exceptional Medical Information Coordinator for Mexico who will provide guidance and training to other staff members on medical information management policies and procedures. This position will be based out of our Mexico City offices in Polanco** About the Role: * Perform activities in line with UCBCares standards, including but not limited to activities described in sop\-102678 (Enquiry Intake Management), sop\-008513 (Management of Medical Information Enquiries) and g\-q\-101532 (Enquiry Intake and Case Management). * Key role in the subjects of healthcare information and medical information management, as well as customer service which may include product supply, customer support, safety/quality information and patient support program information and other critical medical communication or customer service setting provided as part of UCBCares concept, including this activies for Latina as need it. * Main point of contact as Business Administrator and Country Librarian for the affiliate regarding activities described in sop\-008512 (Clearance of Promotional, Press and Educational Communications), sop\-ai\-008517 (UCB Code of Standards for Promotional Communications), sop\-ai\-008518 (UCB Code of Standards for Non\-Promotional Communications), g\-q\-100836 (Source Clear Business Governance) and g\-q\-101768 (Source Clear Public Librarians Guidance). * Ensures that medical information is accurate, secure, updated and available to support patient care and clinical decision\-making in response to inquieries. * Patient Support Program main contact for the affiliate under the UCBCares umbrella. **Key Activities** * Provide as needed the corresponding onboarding about UCBCares concept to new hires or other staff members as requested. * Provide guidance and training to other staff members on medical information management policies and procedures. Included at local level but not limited to sop\-ai\-102370 (Enquiry Intake and Medical Information (MI) Management at UCB Affiliate in Mexico – LATAM Region), sop\-ai\-103829 (Handling of Medical Information (MI) Enquiries by Fields Medical personnel), and g\-q\-102263 (Guidance on handling of MIEs by Field Medical personnel at UCB Affiliate Mexico and Latam Region). * Maintains UCB staff informed about any change on the internal and external channels for enquiries reception in the Affiliate. * Maintains periodic technical integrity and monitoring of UCBCares telephone line along with IT Global team assigned as one of the channels for enquiries receipt as described in g\-q\-101532\. * Provides support to Front Desk regarding enquiries intake, forwarding to UCBCares team and topics related to enquiries management in line with UCBCares standards. **Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills** * Bachelor degree: in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy, or any other field related to pharmaceutical sciences. * English: Fluent (H\-Reading Comprehension, H\-conversation and H\-written) * 2 to 3 years working in similar positions. * Has knowledge of relevant local legal requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, including the interpretation and practical application of regulations. * Self\-driven, results\-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality.
