Prevent the spread of cattle grubworm. *OIRSA seeks a Cowboy in Tanque Escondido* **JOB DESCRIPTION.** Assist in the operation and administration of the Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Inspection System at inspection sites, with the objective of strengthening emerging animal health measures under the National Animal Health Emergency Device (DINESA), to prevent the spread of cattle grubworm. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1\. Completed high school education. 2\. Six months to one year of experience in similar positions. 3\. Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform livestock loading and unloading operations subject to inspection procedures, as well as livestock designated for diagnostic services, provided that conditions at the Federal Verification and Inspection Point permit. * Conduct cleaning and maintenance of chutes, corrals, and inspection facilities, ensuring they remain in optimal condition for livestock examination or treatment when required. * Carry out washing and spraying of vehicles transporting livestock, in accordance with established sanitary protocols. * Operate livestock squeeze chutes to ensure proper restraint of animals undergoing inspection or treatment within handling chutes. **BENEFITS OFFERED:** · Salary: $12,300 gross pesos · Statutory benefits · Contract with a probationary period determined by project duration **HOW TO APPLY:** If you are interested in joining the OIRSA team, please send your most recent resume to the following email address with the subject line: **TECNICO VAQUERO INSPECCIÓN PVIF**, applications accepted.
