




Job Summary: This mechanical design role involves supporting plants in resolving issues, validating engineering changes, and assisting in cost-saving projects—from design through validation. Participation in cost-saving projects Description Support plants in design (collaborating with multidisciplinary teams) for issues, rework, or complaints requiring modification of existing tooling or gauges. Validate engineering or process changes in which the designer participated, and present them to the customer. Support cost-saving projects. Track all processes involving modified tooling or gauges—from design, manufacturing, installation, through validation. Requirements **Years of Experience**: Minimum 8 years in mechanical design. **Tools**: Advanced experience in **SolidWorks** or similar software. **Specialization**: * Design of welding *fixtures* (jigs and fixtures) for MIG/MAG welding—from concept through production. * Design of components for tooling or dies. * Knowledge of **PPAP** (Production Part Approval Process). **Skills**: Training in **GD\&T** (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) **Mobility:** Willingness to travel 80% of the time. **Documentation:** Valid passport and U.S. visa available. **Problem Solving:** Training in Six Sigma or advanced problem-solving tools. **Technical Interpretation:** Training in GD\&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
