Education: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or related fields. Key Knowledge and Responsibilities: Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years total as a Data Engineer, including at least 3 solid years in the Hadoop and Hive ecosystem. Cloud Proficiency: Minimum 2 years of recent experience (2024 to present) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery, Dataflow, or Dataproc. Languages: Expert-level proficiency in Python (PySpark) or Scala for data transformation development. Responsibilities: Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes; migrate data pipelines from traditional environments (Hadoop) to scalable cloud architectures. English: Intermediate level (B1/B2) for reading, understanding emails, and technical documentation. Location: Hybrid model: Azcapotzalco / Toreo area.
