Job Summary: We are seeking a National Buyer for the Operations Department, responsible for ensuring timely procurement of spare parts and supplies, supplier management, and cost optimization. SAP B1 System Usage ***National Buyer*** ***Interlaken Maquinaria S.A. de C.V.*** ***Location: Tlalnepantla de Baz*** Interlaken Maquinaria is seeking a ***National Buyer*** to join the Operations Department, responsible for ensuring timely procurement of spare parts and supplies, preventing stockouts, and optimizing costs through effective supplier management. Job Objective Ensure efficient supply of goods; develop and evaluate domestic suppliers; track deliveries; and guarantee accurate recording and control of purchases in the system, complying with quality standards, delivery timelines, and internal policies. Main Responsibilities ***Supplier Management and Development*** * Expand and evaluate the supplier catalog. * Negotiate commercial terms, delivery timelines, and credit arrangements. * Develop and execute the procurement plan. * Track spare parts delivery dates according to schedule. ***Quotations and Purchases*** * Request and analyze quotations in accordance with internal policies. * Evaluate proposals based on price, quality, and delivery timelines. * Track material deliveries in coordination with the warehouse. * Manage returns and warranties with suppliers. ***Control and Recordkeeping*** * Register purchase requests in SAP B1. * Analyze reports comparing goods receipts versus invoicing. * Track payments in coordination with Accounts Payable. ***Operational Compliance*** * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area (5S). * Participate in activities of the Operational Excellence System. * Meet performance indicators such as inventory level and supplier evaluation. Required Profile ***Minimum Education:*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, or related field. ***Experience:*** * 1–2 years in national procurement or supplier development. * Supplier negotiation experience. * Inventory management experience. * Tracking of supplier invoicing and payments. * SAP B1 system usage. ***Technical Knowledge:*** * Intermediate/advanced Excel. * SAP B1. * Material Requirements Planning (MRP). ***Competencies:*** * Negotiation. * Organization and discipline. * Results orientation. * Teamwork. * Proactivity. * Stress tolerance. ***We Offer*** * Salary: $12,000 monthly net. * Biweekly payments. * Monthly food voucher card worth $1,400. * Monthly punctuality bonus of $550. * 100% IMSS coverage from day one. ***Working Hours*** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
