At Swissport, we are guided by our core values—Show You Care, Do the Right Thing, and Win as a Team—and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals who align with these values to join our team across multiple locations worldwide. **Job Summary** Assist and support all passengers, providing attention during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation. **Your Responsibilities:** Assistance and Appearance* Report punctually for assigned duties. * Request assignments from supervisor. * Coordinate and assist in the transportation of equipment and documentation. Review of Documentation and Flight Information* Verify boarding gate assignments, first-class vouchers, and any other supplementary information provided by the supervisor or airline representative. * Listen attentively to the pre-flight briefing. Counter Opening* Arrive at counters according to the time required by the customer prior to aircraft arrival. * Ensure counters are clean and ready to begin check-in. * Confirm availability of necessary documentation to commence check-in. * Where applicable, place airline- and aviation authority-mandated notices and/or information at the counter. Check-in* Review passenger documentation in accordance with airline policies. * Assign seats using automated or manual systems. * Weigh baggage and, if excess is detected, apply the applicable airline excess baggage charge procedure. * Issue boarding passes and baggage tags. * Efficiently complete the entire check-in process. Ticketing* Collect ticket payments, excess baggage fees, and other applicable charges per airline policy. * Safeguard funds resulting from ticket sales and other airline-related collections. Disembarkation* Verify availability of disembarkation belt information and details concerning passengers with special needs before proceeding to the final waiting area. * Coordinate delivery of wheelchairs, trolleys, and other passenger-owned equipment traveling in the bulk compartment. * Announce completion of disembarkation via radio. Boarding* Verify availability of required documentation and equipment for boarding, as specified by the customer and airline. * Initiate boarding at the time stipulated by the customer, making applicable announcements. * Apply applicable security procedures. * Keep stakeholders informed regarding boarding closure progress and other relevant information. Flight Closure* Close the flight within the timeframe established by the customer. * Notify staff in lounges of last-minute passengers. * Apply security procedures in case of non-boarding passengers. * Generate applicable reports and documentation for submission to supervisor or airline representative.
