Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. * Troubleshoot, test and correct routine malfunctions of equipment. Assembles or constructs simple or standard devices, parts or equipment such as prototypes, breadboards, test fixtures, etc. This includes servicing and repairing the same devices, parts or equipment. Conducts a variety of standardized tests, including setting up and operating test equipment and recording test data. * Routine internal contacts to exchange information and to resolve issues. Occasional and limited outside contacts with vendors. Extracts and records engineering data from various prescribed processes using prescribed data collection methods, processes data following well defined methods; and presents data in prescribed form. * Executes pre\-planned processes. May assist in planning process for test and prototype design. * Applies quality improvement process\-related tools as required in problem\-solving and decision\-making. Participates actively in quality improvement teams. * Equipment set up during production change over. * Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules. * Install and debug new equipment under supervisor or engineer instruction. * Participate on equipment transfer projects. * Maintain a spare part inventory for PM purposes. * Assemble and install new equipment following drawings and schematic diagrams. * Maintain all manufacturing equipment in conformance with safety and ergonomic guidelines.
