Description and Details of Responsibilities * Must maintain inventory levels of consumable items and components within minimum and maximum control limits as defined by the control plan. * Verify that sufficient material is available and confirm when and where it is needed to meet manufacturing plans related to your CFT. * Use the Planner Workbench in Oracle to plan and release purchase demands. * Responsible for ensuring promised delivery dates are met. * Responsible for keeping back orders within target levels. * Monitor the status of orders in process (WIP), using Oracle to generate reports. * Follow up with suppliers (internal and external) on all requisitions and purchase orders placed to ensure compliance with delivery dates; escalate to management any adverse supply situations impacting your CFT’s production plan. * Navigate through Oracle’s planning, BOM, and WIP modules to obtain required planning information and expedite work orders. * Develops production work schedules, prioritizes work orders, and sequences them by machine time or cycle in coordination with department supervisors. * Likewise, must maintain and comply with inventory level control goals for components assigned to the area, aligned with company-established goals and programs per CFT. * Participate in weekly CFT meetings to discuss new projects, the shop floor program, and current issues regarding equipment, materials, and related areas. * Collaborate with employees at all levels within your CFT to resolve day-to-day problems. * Work with purchasing to procure materials, components, and supplies. * Know and apply policies and procedures of the Quality Systems (ISO 9001\), ISO 13485, Environmental Management System (ISO 14001\), Health and Hygiene Management System, and Occupational Safety (OHSAS 18001\), as well as any other system required by the company for its operations. Experience and Requirements * Completed university degree. * More than 3 years of experience in planning or purchasing. * Bilingual Spanish-English. * Oracle system management (preferred experience). * Able to identify, evaluate, and correct complex problems using root cause analysis. * Understanding and application of policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. * Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all organizational levels. * Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation. * Proficient in computer management and Microsoft Office applications. * Participate in and contribute to a team environment. * Capable of working independently. * Results-oriented.
