




Job Summary: Experienced cook responsible for dish preparation and plating, quality control, food hygiene, and kitchen brigade coordination. Key Highlights: 1. Effective coordination and communication with the kitchen team. * Prepare and maintain mise en place for your station throughout service. * Cook and plate dishes according to recipe standards, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines. * Perform foundational preparations (stocks, sauces, cuts, marinades, etc.). * Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure quality. * Verify product freshness and rotation (FIFO). * Communicate supply needs and shortages to the Chef or supervisor. * Strictly comply with food hygiene and handling regulations (HACCP, NOM-251, etc.). * Keep your work area, utensils, and equipment clean and disinfected. * Prevent cross-contamination risks. * Operate kitchen equipment safely. * Record waste and consumption. * Assist with inventory management and receipt of supplies. * Store products according to preservation standards. * Coordinate dish timing with servers and bar staff. * Ensure clear communication with the rest of the kitchen brigade.
