Description

Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, storing, and supplying materials and medications, ensuring inventory control and product quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Receiving and registration of materials and medications 2. Storage and inventory control (FIFO) 3. Supplying materials to operating rooms and patients Ø Receive materials and medications from suppliers according to the terms stipulated in the purchase order or material requisition form, verifying quantity, quality, price, expiration dates, handling conditions of goods, and fiscal records on the invoice, and performing accurate and timely registration in the inventory system. Ø Receive products and medications and arrange them by expiration date and receipt date, in accordance with specifications stated on the product packaging and inserts, applying the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method and quality control for perishable products. Ø Supply materials and medications included in surgical menus (trays). Ø Supply materials and medications to operating rooms and hospitalized patients, receiving prescriptions for controlled medications as applicable. Ø Perform restocking of inventory to sub-warehouses and departments for materials and medications.
