Position Summary: We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to develop surgical plans, monitor procedures, and perform in-hospital treatments for small animal species. Key Highlights: 1. Job Description Develop surgical plans and approaches to resolve cases requiring surgical intervention. Monitor surgical and outpatient procedures. · Veterinary Surgeon or Veterinary Surgeon with Zootechnics specialization. · Consultation services for small animal species (preferred). · Implementation of medical treatments. · Management and treatment of animals. · Administration of veterinary pharmaceuticals. · Licensed professional with official license certificate. · Age 25 years or older. · Minimum 3 years of experience in small animal clinics. · Minimum 2 years of experience in soft tissue surgery. · Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedic surgeries (preferred). · Completion of training program at a teaching hospital (preferred). **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Performing outpatient procedures. · Maintaining individual patient records. · Interpreting laboratory and diagnostic imaging studies. · Implementing and monitoring in-hospital treatments. · Providing timely emergency response. · Keeping work areas clean and organized at all times. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Specific responsibilities for this position include: · Interpreting diagnostic studies to formulate anesthesia protocols tailored to each patient’s health condition. · Performing minor outpatient procedures. · Performing soft tissue surgeries. · Administering local, regional, and/or inhalant anesthesia. · Implementing postoperative analgesia protocols. · Assisting in orthopedic surgeries. · Advising animal owners on sanitary measures, nutrition, and general care necessary to support proper postoperative recovery. · Completing individual patient records and maintaining progress documentation.
