Respectful and collaborative work environment. **Pastry Chef – Deluca Bakery** **Location:** Tijuana, B.C., Rio Zone **Schedule:** Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (with a 1-hour lunch break) Job Description Deluca Bakery is seeking a **Baker** to join our production team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking various types of artisanal bread and dough, ensuring the quality, flavor, and presentation that define our bakery. Main Responsibilities * Preparation and formulation of dough for various types of bread. * Production of sourdough bread, carefully managing fermentation processes and starter culture handling. * Preparation and handling of laminated doughs such as croissants, danishes, and other specialty items. * Weighing, rounding, shaping, and fermenting products. * Oven operation and precise control of baking times. * Preparation and assembly of sandwiches according to quality and presentation standards. * Final product quality, texture, and presentation verification. * Maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area and tools. * Compliance with company hygiene and production standards. * Team collaboration to meet production deadlines and volume requirements. Requirements * Prior experience in artisanal baking or a similar role. * Knowledge of fermentation, dough handling, and baking. * Experience or basic knowledge of sourdough and laminated doughs. * Desirable experience in food preparation or sandwich making. * Responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively and under production pace. * Proactive attitude and commitment to quality.
