Requires 5 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or costing. ### **Sales Engineer** The company is seeking a **Sales Engineer** to join the **Research \& Development** department. This position plays a strategic role in technical\-commercial customer support and in identifying opportunities that strengthen business development. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Identify current and future customer requirements by building professional relationships with prospective and existing customers. * Provide technical, product, and service information. * Establish new accounts and follow up on existing ones by identifying opportunities and planning sales agendas. * Prepare cost estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, in coordination with engineering staff and other professionals. * Determine improvements through cost\-benefit analysis and propose changes to equipment, processes, materials, or services. * Strengthen customer confidence through explanations and demonstrations of operational improvements and cost reductions. * Manage orders in collaboration with the technical support team. * Train customer personnel through technical information and training. * Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting and analyzing relevant information. * Stay updated on technical knowledge related to offered products and solutions. * Analyze the effectiveness of sales activities and propose options and actions addressing customers' short- and long-term concerns. * Availability to travel 25%–50% for customer support. * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines. ### **Required Profile** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. * **Experience:** 5 years in technical sales, marketing, costing, project management, or product management. * **Knowledge:** Marketing, sales, costing, ERP systems, project and product management. * **Skills:** + Customer, project, and product management. + Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. + Ability to interact with personnel at all levels within the customer organization. + Autonomy to operate in remote environments. + Effective communication to guide the organization toward achieving business plans. + Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, Outlook, MS Project, and AutoCAD. * **Attitudes:** Dynamism, responsibility, reliability, organization, customer orientation, and results focus. * **Language:** Advanced English in reading, writing, and conversation. ### **Other Considerations** This position entails responsibilities within the Quality Management System, executing activities in accordance with established requirements. Additionally, responsibilities may expand based on the company’s operational needs.
