Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Primary Responsibilities** Supervise, implement, and ensure compliance with current environmental regulations and the organization’s internal guidelines, minimizing environmental risks, ensuring operational continuity, and promoting sustainability. Supervise compliance with applicable environmental legislation Implement and monitor environmental management programs (waste, emissions, discharges, resource consumption, noise, etc.). Ensure comprehensive management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory requirements. Conduct internal environmental inspections and supervision walkthroughs at plants and job sites Administer environmental permits, licenses, and obligations Train staff on environmental topics, waste handling, and emergency response. Coordinate investigations and reporting of environmental incidents. Prepare internal environmental reports and reports for regulatory authorities. Participate in internal, external, and official inspection audits. Propose and implement environmental improvement projects and impact reduction initiatives. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** Regulatory compliance 100% compliance with environmental obligations 100% regulatory audits with no major non-conformities **Waste Management** Correct waste segregation Reduction in generated hazardous waste Full waste traceability (manifests) **Incident Prevention** Number of environmental incidents or spills Response time to incidents Timely closure of corrective actions **Training and Environmental Culture** Staff trained on environmental topics Implemented environmental campaigns or initiatives **Document Management and Reporting** Timely submission of internal and external environmental reports Up-to-date environmental records and logs **Continuous Improvement and Sustainability** Annual increase in recycling rate Reduction in water, energy, or emissions consumption Annual percentage reduction aligned with corporate objectives. **Authority** Suspend activities posing critical environmental risk. Request and verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Authorize operational practices within the approved environmental framework. Conduct internal environmental audits Develop environmental campaigns Develop KPIs / environmental performance dashboards Develop projects (waste, water, air) **Education** Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Safety, or related field. **Experience** * 1 year or more in EHS management systems Knowledge Mexican environmental legislation and NOM environmental standards. Management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Administration of emission and wastewater systems.
