Job Summary: We are seeking a Cargo Inspector with experience in international trade to inspect, verify, and report on the condition of imported goods, ensuring correct tariff classification. We are seeking a Cargo Inspector who must hold valid documentation (Visa) and/or residency in \*USA\* to conduct cargo inspections in California. REQUIREMENTS: * Experience with NOMs and labeling. * Experience as a Cargo Inspector. * Experience in international trade (Import/Export). * Experience handling goods (to prevent damage). OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Physically inspect incoming imported goods to identify brands, models, composition, serial numbers, and batch numbers. * Verify the arrival status of goods and report damages, shortages, and overages. * Cross-check invoice data against the goods being inspected. * Accurately record the time required to inspect each invoice. * Search online for pricing or other information—such as product material composition—to verify data provided by the client. * Take photographs of goods for accurate tariff classification. RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting and Recordkeeping * Cargo inspection report. * Activity report. * Operation time log. * Client incident log. * Pedimento delivery log. * Vehicle maintenance log. * Process incident log. Weekly schedule defined by the Warehouse Supervisor, Monday through Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 9:00 am to 6:00 pm 10:00 am to 7:00 pm \*Rotating Saturday shifts from 9:00 am to 12:00 am (3 hours). OBJECTIVE: * Physically inspect imported goods to verify that invoice data matches the goods presented to customs.
