**Job Description**
Ensure comprehensive medical care for employees of the maquiladora plant, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of occupational illnesses and accidents, while ensuring compliance with current regulations on health, safety, and industrial hygiene.
### **Medical Care and First Aid**
* Provide general medical consultations to employees through medical history taking, physical examination, and diagnosis.
* Prescribe treatments and medications according to medical and regulatory criteria.
* Provide immediate care for work-related accidents and medical emergencies.
* Request, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and imaging studies.
* Manage medical leaves and return-to-work processes.
### **Occupational Health and Occupational Medicine**
* Assess and monitor employee health according to job-related risks.
* Follow up on ST\-7 and ST\-9 forms with IMSS.
* Prepare and administer the **Work Risk Premium**.
* Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and annual medical examinations.
* Monitor and analyze statistics on occupational accidents and incidents.
* Follow up on the **ELSSA** (Safe and Healthy Work Environments) program.
* Participate in inspections conducted by the **Safety and Hygiene Committee**.
### **Health Prevention and Promotion**
* Implement prevention campaigns (e.g., vaccination, ergonomics, visual health, nutrition).
* Train employees on health topics, first aid, and risk prevention.
* Develop health education and workplace wellness programs.
### **Administration and Management**
* Prepare and maintain up-to-date medical records for employees.
* Manage inventories of medications, medical supplies, and service equipment.
* Coordinate medical referrals with clinics, hospitals, or external specialists.
* Ensure compliance with health-related requirements set by competent authorities.
* Knowledge of and proficiency with the **TRESS** system.
* Administer and coordinate the **First Aid Brigade**.

### **Academic Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (degree and professional license mandatory).
* Preferred: diploma or specialization in Occupational Medicine, Occupational Health, or related field.
### **Experience**
* Minimum 4 years in industrial medicine, occupational health, or maquiladora environments.
* Experience with IMSS procedures and labor regulations.
### **Technical Knowledge**
* STPS and IMSS regulations.
* Proficiency in ST7, ST9, and work risk premium management.
* First aid and emergency response.
* Ergonomics and occupational risk assessment.
