Job Description and Activity Details * Creates CAD drawings for projects ranging from conceptual and approval documents to fully detailed shop drawings and construction documents. * Maintains organized and well-structured project files. Maintains a positive attitude and exercises sound judgment. * Works with project managers to develop an accurate scope of requirements for each job before creating CU documents. * Efficiently processes change orders for both design changes and production changes. * Uses appropriate materials and solutions to ensure effective, high-quality production. * Assists with prototype development and manufacturing as needed. * Supports project managers and sales staff with manufacturing guidelines, best practices, and technical assistance as required. * Is familiar with common woodworking materials, as well as metals, acrylics, and common finishes such as paints and powder coatings. * Promotes the company’s positive work environment and supports programs related to the Quality Management System, occupational hygiene and safety, internal work regulations, and workplace environmental standards.
