Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and proper operational processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team leadership and supervision 2. Customer satisfaction assurance 3. Operational and inventory management Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your staff to coordinate accurate execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, acting as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer advice and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable recommendations and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and monitor area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for staff under your supervision per AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
