




Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service and compliance with operational processes. Key Highlights: 1. End-to-end store operations management Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to employees under your supervision to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver outstanding service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, acting as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, friendly, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report during each reporting period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-saving across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and perform cash register closings for staff under your supervision, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or operating in-store test stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
