**Underground Mine Supervisor** **Position Objective** Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities in an underground mine, ensuring compliance with the production plan, safety standards, quality requirements, and operational discipline, while guaranteeing safe working conditions for personnel and efficient use of resources. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise development and production activities inside the mine. * Ensure compliance with the **daily production plan** (advance, tonnage, and quality). * Verify safe working conditions prior to commencement of activities (face inspections, ventilation, ground support). * Supervise proper application of the established mining method. * Coordinate operational staff and contractors on shift. * Ensure compliance with **Occupational Health and Safety** standards. * Report incidents, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts. * Monitor appropriate use of equipment and machinery. * Prepare shift reports and operational logs. * Coordinate with Geology, Planning, Maintenance, and Safety departments. **Requirements** **Education** * Mining Engineering, Geoscience Engineering, or related degree. **Experience** * Minimum **5 years of underground mining experience**. * Experience supervising operational staff. * Experience managing work crews and/or unionized personnel. **Technical Knowledge** * Underground mining methods. * Safety procedures for underground mining. * Basic ventilation and ground support. * Basic production and advance control. * Interpretation of mine plans and sections. **Skills** * Operational leadership. * Decision-making under pressure. * Teamwork. * Effective communication. * Discipline and results orientation. * Strong safety orientation. **Benefits:** Competitive salary.
