




Job Summary: The Raw Materials Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and controlling supplies for the cafeteria, ensuring quality, safety, and hygiene. Maintaining a clean, organized warehouse, free of pests. The Raw Materials Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and controlling all food supplies and materials required for cafeteria operations. Their primary mission is to ensure a continuous flow of goods to the kitchen area, guaranteeing that materials meet the required quality, safety, and hygiene standards for human consumption. Primary Responsibilities * **Receiving and Verification:** Receive goods from suppliers and physically verify them against invoices or delivery notes. Verify quantities, packaging conditions, expiration dates, and, for perishable items, appropriate temperature. * **Quality and Safety Control:** Conduct visual inspections to ensure supplies show no damage, signs of spoilage, or contamination. * **Inventory Management:** Record incoming and outgoing items in the digital system. Conduct periodic counts (perpetual or quarterly inventories) to ensure physical stock matches system records. * **Product Rotation (FIFO):** Strictly apply the **First-In, First-Out (FIFO)** system to ensure older food items are used before expiration. * **Internal Supply:** Prepare and deliver raw material requisitions requested by the production area (kitchen) timely and accurately. * **Area Maintenance:** Maintain the warehouse clean, dry, organized, and pest-free to prevent cross-contamination.
