Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to manage the procurement and supply of Primary Packaging, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the quality and timeliness of materials. Negotiates optimal conditions regarding quality, service, and cost Position Objective: Contribute to the company’s profitability through successful negotiations with Primary Packaging suppliers, coordinating procurement and supply within the timeframe required by the Planning Department while meeting the quality specifications of each material. Requirements: * Degree in Administration / International Business / Industrial Engineering or related field. * 4 years of experience preferred in Manufacturing (preferably food or fast-moving consumer goods), specifically in direct procurement. * Basic knowledge of International Trade (import/export). Responsibilities: * Maintain close relationships with suppliers to build strategic alliances (business partners) that foster mutual benefits in marketing their products * Conduct negotiations for material procurement and ensure timely supply to the Planning Department * Issue purchase orders, obtain quotations, and secure optimal conditions regarding quality, service, and cost. * Keep the supplier list and raw material pricing updated for accurate budget management. * Monitor purchase order execution until supplier delivery and warehouse receipt, ensuring compliance with quality specifications * Follow up on material returns due to defects or non-compliance with the issued purchase order, requesting corresponding credit notes from suppliers and ensuring material retrieval from the supplier * Prospect, negotiate, and maintain an updated supplier catalog; alternatively, develop new suppliers offering opportunities to improve business profitability.
