**Mexican construction company specializing in project execution and technical supervision is seeking:** **CONSTRUCTION SITE SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT ASSISTANT** **Job Objective:** Support the implementation, monitoring, and compliance of safety and environmental policies at the construction site, ensuring adherence to current regulations and promoting a safe working environment for employees as well as respect for the environment. **Employment Offer:** * **Net Monthly Salary:** $16,000\.00 MXN. * **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. * **Contract Type:** Fixed-term, valid for the duration of the project. * **Reports To:** Construction Superintendent. * **Location:** Tepatlaxco de Hidalgo, Pue. (Municipality of Tepatlaxco de Hidalgo) **Requirements:** * Experience in safety and environmental management within construction projects. * Technical or higher education in industrial safety, environmental engineering, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of occupational safety regulations (NOM\-STPS, local construction regulations, etc.). * Knowledge of waste management, environmental protection, and occupational risk reduction techniques. * Ability to conduct safety inspections on construction sites and identify potential risks. * Responsible, organized, and proactive attitude. * Strong communication skills to raise awareness and train personnel on safety and environmental topics. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support the implementation and supervision of safety and environmental policies at the construction site. * Conduct daily inspections on-site to verify compliance with safety measures and environmental regulations. * Collaborate in identifying hazards and risks on-site, proposing preventive and corrective actions. * Ensure workers properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions. * Support staff training and awareness initiatives on occupational safety and environmental protection. * Monitor proper waste management practices on-site, ensuring compliance with disposal and recycling regulations. * Collaborate with the Safety and Environment Officer in preparing and updating safety and environmental logs and reports. * Support coordination and response to emergencies on-site, ensuring the safety of all workers. * Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations to prevent environmental contamination. * Provide support in preparing periodic reports on the status of safety and environmental compliance at the site.
