Compliance with safety and hygiene standards Responsibilities of the Automotive Mechanical Assistant Assist the mechanic in performing preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other basic services under supervision. Assist in the inspection and repair of vehicle mechanical systems. Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Assist in disassembly and assembly of parts and components. Transport and organize spare parts, materials, and tools required for repairs. Conduct basic vehicle inspections following instructions from the responsible mechanic. Assist in fault identification and vehicle operational testing. Comply with established safety and hygiene standards in the workshop.
