At Perfetti Van Melle, a renowned global leader in the confectionery industry, we are seeking a **Production Leader** to coordinate unionized personnel across production lines, ensuring compliance with the production schedule and product safety, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise floor staff activities, providing necessary tools to meet the production schedule. * Ensure a safe work environment by complying with safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Ensure production processes comply with quality standards, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the HACCP plan. * Verify correct implementation of the Master Cleaning Plan and ensure product safety at all production stages. * Control material usage, ensuring availability of supplies for line startup and sustained operation. * Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and key performance indicators such as production time, waste, and efficiency. * Actively participate in incident and accident investigations, implementing necessary corrective actions. * Prepare production reports, promptly notifying the Production Supervisor of any deviations or incidents. **Requirements:** * **Education**: High school diploma or technical degree (bachelor’s degree or engineering preferred). * **Experience**: Minimum 1 year in production or quality roles within manufacturing, preferably with unionized personnel. * **Knowledge and Skills**: * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Integrated Management Systems. * Food Safety, Occupational Safety and Hygiene, and Environmental Management. * Basic knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to lead teams, maintain discipline, and foster a positive work environment. * Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. **We Offer:** * **Competitive salary** * **Benefits exceeding statutory requirements** * Opportunities for internal growth and development * Continuous training and employee wellness programs **If you’re interested in joining our team, apply today!** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $16,000.00 \- $17,000.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Free beverages * Discounts and preferential pricing * Maternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Paternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Company parking * Free parking * Employee referral program * Medical expense insurance * Major medical expense insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Cafeteria service * Discounted cafeteria service * Grocery vouchers Experience: * Experience managing unionized personnel: 1 year (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site employment
