Maintains constant communication with suppliers An Accounts Payable Analyst manages the complete supplier payment cycle, ensuring timely registration, validation, and payment of invoices. Responsibilities include verifying purchase orders, reconciling account statements, performing tax withholdings, and maintaining accurate accounting records, all in compliance with internal policies to prevent errors. Main Responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Analyst: * Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, classify, and record invoices from domestic and foreign suppliers in the ERP or accounting system. * Reconciliation and Validation: Compare invoices against purchase orders and goods receipt notes to ensure amounts and items match. * Payment Management: Prepare and execute the payment schedule (wire transfers, checks) within established timelines, managing cash flows. * Supplier Management: Maintain constant communication with suppliers to resolve billing disputes, missing items, or late payments. * Account Reconciliation: Periodically review supplier account balances and advances to ensure they reflect actual liabilities. * Expense Recording: Properly classify and record expenses and services in the system for accurate financial statement preparation. * Audit Support: Provide information and documentary support during internal and external audits.
