Ensuring continuous improvement and production efficiency Culiacán Mexico Operations: manufacturing, production, maintenance, utilities **External Job Description** Job Objective: To control the receipt and issuance of spare parts, tools, materials, and safety equipment to maintain required inventory levels and ensure proper warehouse management through cyclic inventory; additionally, to administer preventive maintenance (work orders, tracking compliance, reporting, costs, planning). Responsibilities: Conduct cyclic and monthly inventories of domestic and imported spare parts, as well as other materials, to timely supply requirements across all departments when needed. Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels for key machine spare parts to ensure timely supply. Track all incoming and outgoing spare parts and other materials stored in the warehouse to prevent production line stoppages or downtime. Collaborate with indirect procurement to identify suitable offers and suppliers, ensuring optimal service delivery to production areas. Weekly tracking of preventive maintenance compliance (work orders, validation of completed tasks, reporting, rescheduling). Ensure 100% of machines are included in the maintenance plan. Verify compliance with safety regulations. Update preventive maintenance plans based on the 8D methodology and TPM workshops to ensure continuous improvement. Implement prerequisite programs and hazard control plans, as applicable. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 2 years of experience in similar positions and activities (manufacturing industry preferred). Knowledge of inventory control, min/max stock management, tools, spare parts, and metric measurements. Advanced Excel skills for reporting and inventory management. Experience using an ERP system.
