Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** **Position Title: Welder Operator** **Description:** Achieve production area objectives through correct assembly and welding application per work instructions (center point), releasing products according to quality standards (CTQ, gauges, inspection) and adhering to defined manufacturing processes while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture—thereby achieving the highest quality levels essential to meeting the company’s critical goals. The Welder Operator reports to the Team Leader and Production Supervisor. **Responsibilities:** 1\. Perform duties in accordance with the company’s Internal Work Regulations (RIT). 2\. At all times, wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the assigned task. 3\. Carry out production activities in compliance with company-defined standards (quality, production, safety, etc.). 4\. Commit to producing quality products aligned with standards and performing validations per established control procedures. 5\. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area using the 5S methodology. 6\. Attend scheduled company trainings punctually and actively. **Authorities:** An individual’s authority refers to the power they hold within their organization. The organization’s owner is its highest authority, to whom employees must respond whenever necessary. Two types of authority will be applied: one global, outlining the authority all personnel hold regarding safety and quality. * You have the authority to report and/or stop any activity identified as posing a risk to the safety of any person on-site—including employees, contractors, or service providers—and/or facilities. * Regarding quality, employees have the authority to halt any process or work activity identified as potentially compromising product quality and/or customer requirements. * You have decision-making authority in accordance with procedures, corporate policies, and legal requirements to ensure business success. **Basic and Desired Qualifications** * Minimum education required: Junior high school * Marital status: Not applicable * Minimum required experience: 1 year in the metal-mechanical and/or automotive industry * Ability and experience working rotating shifts * Basic welding knowledge * Proficiency in using hand tools * Basic ability to interpret welding drawings and symbols * Adherence to work standards Required Competencies: * Adaptability * Self-motivation * Commitment * Flexibility * Time management * Building collaborative relationships
