Actively participate in continuous improvement and waste elimination EXTRUSION OPERATOR **Position Summary** Location: Silao, Guanajuato Company: Nestlé Purina Schedule: Availability for rotating shifts and breaks Education: High School Diploma **Internal Requirements:** * 1 year in current position. * No absences or disciplinary actions in the last 6 months. * 100% completion of required courses and learning paths * No concurrent recruitment processes * \+ 4 months since previous application. **Job Mission:** Responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the Extrusion system safely and autonomously, in compliance with requirements established in the Integrated Management System (IMS). Timely and accurate recording of operational results in DMO and SAP, to achieve defined safety, quality, and productivity goals through adherence to standards, legal compliance, the NCE model, and continuous improvement initiatives—achieving Manufacturing Excellence. **A Day in the Life of...** * Identify, record, communicate, and implement hazard and incident controls in the workplace using the SHE map. * Understand and follow OHSAS 18001 system procedures to strengthen safety. * Comply with IMS requirements across quality systems: ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and NQMS. * Observe, measure, and control Critical Control Points (CCPs) in the area per QMS. * Maintain a results-oriented mindset, proactively cooperating to identify and actively communicate quantifiable improvements that drive goal achievement through continuous improvement behaviors. * Eliminate waste to satisfy our consumers through excellent compliance, generating competitive advantage. * Actively participate in TPM step-change activities. * Support basic maintenance activities. * Perform proper cleaning of equipment and work area, and identify deviations. * Shift startup and handover. * Identify environmental aspects and impacts arising from work activities. * Conduct comprehensive waste management in the work area. **What Will Make You Successful** * Knowledge of process controls. * Basic knowledge of MS Office. * Desirable knowledge of preparation tanks and color storage * Compliance with and understanding of QMS standards * Compliance with GMPs
