Job Summary: We are seeking a Toolmaker Technician with experience in maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds, fault diagnosis, and operation of CNC and conventional machinery. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure product quality and maximize equipment service life. 2. Perform major maintenance and repairs on injection molds. 3. Extensive knowledge of CNC machinery and operation of conventional equipment. Job Description and Responsibilities: * Ensure product quality, minimize downtime, and maximize the service life of equipment and tooling. * Perform major maintenance and repairs on plastic injection molds. * Fault diagnosis, adjustment of critical components, and cavity restoration. * Interpretation of technical drawings, work with tight tolerances, and execution of high-precision adjustments. * Extensive knowledge of CNC machinery usage and operation of conventional equipment such as saws, lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders, operated per technical specifications and safety standards. * Experience in specialized conventional TIG welding and micro-welding for mold repair. * Knowledge and use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gauges, and gauges. * Fabrication of precision tools and dies. * Preventive and corrective maintenance, and root cause analysis on high-volume production molds. * Experience in fabrication of tooling for molding and extrusion, including fixtures for manufacturing processes. * Ongoing training of toolmakers during development phases. Experience and Requirements: * 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing companies (Mandatory). * Technical degree in Toolmaking, Industrial Engineering, Machinist, Maintenance, or related field. * Knowledge of CNC machines, EDM Wire, and EDM Sinker. * Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and Pro\-e. * Experience with conventional machining equipment and knowledge of tool design. * Basic knowledge of ISO 13485 (Preferred). * CNC machine and EDM-type machinery skills. * Familiarity with tool fabrication and precision die adjustment. * Valid visa and passport (a plus). * Current residence in Tecate is preferred.
