If so, we want to meet you!** **At Palladium Hotel Group, we are seeking to fill the position of Fire Protection Systems Technician at Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort \& Spa.** We offer a professional development as passionate as you are… **Job Mission:** Perform preventive maintenance on the fire detection system, ensuring continuous improvement and proper system operation. **Your main responsibilities will be:** * Check the proper communication function of special systems (fire detectors). * Ensure fire detection communication networks are interconnected for correct operation. * Install and program electronic equipment for special systems. * Keep the smoke detector installations throughout the facility always active. * Measure voltage levels of special systems using a multimeter. * Program special systems (fire detectors) using a computer. * Perform additional activities to comply with standards set by external companies. * Conduct inspections of the fire detection system to verify it is in good working condition. * Run conduit piping for special systems (fire and smoke detectors). * Perform corrective maintenance on special systems. * Perform preventive maintenance on special systems and smoke detectors. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on special system equipment (fire detectors). * Walk through the entire facility to externally inspect fire detection systems and smoke detectors. * Repair smoke detectors. * Test smoke detectors with an LED until a red light is emitted, indicating the detector is functioning properly. * Use a tone locator to verify that detector wiring is not broken. * Verify that push buttons emit a green light to confirm they are operational. * Ensure special systems are always functioning correctly. **Requirements:** --------------- **Experience and Technical Knowledge:** * Technical degree in electronics or mechatronics. * Specialization in fire detection systems. * 6 months to 1 year of experience working with fire detection systems. * Knowledge of detector programmers, LEDs, and tone locators. * Familiarity with hand tools and multimeters.
