




Job Summary: We are seeking a Chef to lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring quality, efficiency, and food safety. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and supervision of kitchen teams. 2. Focus on quality, food safety, and hygiene. 3. Promotion of culinary creativity and development of new dishes. **CHEF** · Collaborate with immediate supervisor to determine required staffing levels based on workload. · Organize, train, and supervise personnel under direct supervision regarding compliance with restaurant policies, discipline, personal appearance, personal hygiene, and established safety standards. · Ensure proper application of safety standards by supervised personnel, confirming understanding and implementation to minimize occupational risks and accidents. · Monitor staff in the correct preparation of food—adhering to procedures, recipes, presentation, quality, and portion control. · Minimize waste as much as possible, both in hot and cold kitchens. · Continuously monitor production percentages and staff efficiency; supervise proper use of work equipment while ensuring its optimal functioning. · Ensure all service to the consumption area is performed promptly and meets requested specifications regarding side dishes, cooking degrees, etc. · Prepare warehouse requisitions according to daily production and needs, avoiding overstocking. · Maintain proper food rotation in refrigeration units, constantly verifying and maintaining appropriate temperatures in refrigerators and cold rooms. · Encourage staff participation in creating new dishes and recipes, and organize technical demonstrations for them. · Carry out all instructions and tasks assigned by immediate supervisor, as well as any responsibilities inherent to the position. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 YEARS BACHELOR’S DEGREE ADMINISTRATIVE KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE IN BUFFET AND GRILL SERVICE.
