Cost Accountant

Position Summary: We are seeking a responsible and organized Cost Accountant to analyze, record, and control production costs, prepare reports, and participate in budget development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and control production costs to support decision-making. 2. Collaborate with various departments to optimize resources. 3. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. At Grupo PIXCA, we require: A responsible, organized, and proactive Cost Accountant to support the company’s accounting activities. Description and details of responsibilities: * Analyze, record, and control production costs (materials, labor, and overhead), ensuring accurate allocation per product, process, or production line. * Prepare monthly cost, margin, and budget variance reports, providing clear and timely information to support managerial decision-making. * Reconcile physical and accounting inventories, identifying discrepancies, documenting root causes, and supporting adjustments when necessary. * Analyze variances between standard and actual costs, generating detailed explanations and collaborating with Production and Finance on improvement plans. * Participate in the development, monitoring, and control of the annual cost budget, tracking deviations and proposing corrective actions. * Maintain up-to-date cost structures, bill-of-materials, and process routings within the ERP system. * Prepare financial information related to monthly closings, including accruals, reclassifications, and cost adjustments. * Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and analyzing costs and inventories. * Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Finance departments to ensure proper product valuation and resource optimization. * Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvements in administrative or production processes. **Experience and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cost Accountant. * Specialization in cost accounting. * Knowledge of standard and actual costing, variance analysis, inventory management, and budgeting. * Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). * Strong numerical analysis skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, effective communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. **We Offer:** * Gross base salary of 14,000 * Statutory benefits * 5% savings fund * Cafeteria * Uniforms Employment type: Full-time Salary: $14,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Work location: On-site employment
